You have the flexibility to choose private instruction on your own vessel or on one of ours. In contrast to overcrowded training, we prioritise quality, limiting practical course enrollments to a maximum of three participants. This personalised approach ensures that our training aligns precisely with your level of experience, delivering the highest quality boating education available. PRACTICAL TRAINING

Powerboat Training NZ offers a broad range of boat courses, including RYA courses and qualifications, and comprehensive own-boat tuition on your powerboat or ours. The most popular RYA course is the RYA Powerboat Level 2 which is required within the superyacht industry amongst many others.

Our most popular training is the private or own boat training, which ensures you receive the best possible training to quickly bring you to a competent and confident level in the operation of your own powerboat.

We can provide any of our internationally recognised RYA qualifications on your boat so you will end up with a worldwide recognised license. We also offer this training on our boat should you prefer.

ONLINE TRAINING

We get it, hands-on training out on the water is super important. But we also understand that there are some boat smarts you can pick up before hitting the waves or as a quick refresher. That's why we're all about making things easier in today's world.

Right now, we've got some online resources and training options available, and we're working on making them even better down the line. So, keep an eye out for updates – we're developing some exciting new products in this space!
