RYA POWERBOAT LEVEL 1
RYA Powerboat Level 1 Qualification:
Aim:
To provide a basic practical introduction to boating on the water for those with no previous experience.
The course may be conducted either on your boat or on our school boat.
It is recommended that students continue to the RYA Powerboat Level 2 qualification after completion of the RYA Powerboat Level 1 qualification.
This is not a classroom course and all teaching is done afloat on a boat. There is a maximum ratio of 3 students to one instructor which provides a great quality learning environment.
This course is flexible to your needs. Let us know if you would like to complete it with friends, family, or even ladies only and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

By the end of this course, you should have a good basic understanding of how to safely operate a boat. It is very much about spending time on the water with an experienced instructor who can answer all your questions in addition to building your confidence.

RYA POWERBOAT Level 2 QUALIFICATION
Aim:
The RYA Powerboat Level 2 qualification is designed for people who want to learn how to drive their boat like a professional.
The course may be conducted either on your boat or on our school boat.

Coming alongside under a variety of situations
Good general boat handling
High-speed safety considerations
Anchoring
How to recover a Man Overboard
Emergency situations such as grounding and collisions

Basic Chartwork

Collision Regulations/Rules of the road
Knots
By the end of this qualification, you should feel a lot more confident about your boat handling. You will be able to determine how to drive a boat relative to the wind and tide. You will also have a good appreciation of how to react in common emergency situations and daily operations.
RYA Powerboat Level 2 is an internationally recognised qualification.
JETSKI
Jetski (PWC) Course
This course is internationally recognised and teaches new drivers how to use their PWC or Jet Ski safely, responsibly and with confidence, ensuring they get the best out of their craft. This qualification is also required by the Superyacht industry to drive their jet skis

None. Minimum age 12. Candidates under the age of 16 will be issued an endorsed certificate.
